Attending Your Specialist Screening Practitioners Clinic via the ‘Attend Anywhere’ Video Call App

On receipt of your appointment letter, PLEASE CALL US ON 020 8869 3543 TO CONFIRM ATTENDANCE OF THIS APPOINTMENT.


If the Specialist screening practitioner has established that you are suitable for a video assessment instead of a face to face assessment, kindly make sure you have the following points in place:

  • A good connection to the internet


  • A private, well-lit area where you will not be disturbed during the consultation.


  • Google Chrome web browser on a desktop or laptop, or on an Android tablet or smartphone.

  • Safari web browser on an Apple iMac, MacBook, iPad, or iPhone Web-camera, speakers and microphone already built into laptops or mobile devices.


  • Web-camera, speakers and microphone already built into laptops or mobile devices


  • Is it secure?
    Video calls are secure; your privacy is protected. You have your own private video room that only authorised clinicians can enter.

  • How much internet data will I use?
    You don’t use any data while waiting for a clinician to join you. A video call uses a similar amount of data to Skype® or FaceTime®.


  • How much does a video call cost?
    The video call is free (except for your internet usage)

You can enter the clinic’s online waiting area via the attend anywhere software. The health service is notified when you arrive, and your clinician will join you when ready. When you ring us to confirm your video call assessment, kindly provide us with your current email address so that we can send you our ‘attend anywhere‘ video link along with other important video call and appointment related correspondence. By doing so, we can also give you a test video call one day prior to your video assessment. We can then confirm that your internet connection, speaker, camera and other important aspects of your device are all in place for a smooth, time-saving connection to your SSP video assessment.
